Peer Recovery Specialist I, Certified Position

The Dorchester County Health Department in Cambridge, Maryland has a full-time vacancy for a contractual Peer Recovery Specialist I, Certified.
The main purpose of this position is to provide entry level peer recovery support services to individuals with substance use disorders, mental health disorders, co-occurring, and/or a gambling disorder. The goal is to remove and/or overcome the obstacles to recovery by finding resources, guiding, advocating, supporting and assisting individuals and families to initiate and sustain recovery.
